Downloading, Downlaodind Problems Options

Hi Everyone
Ever since HF has changed over to the current format I have had trouble accessing posts especially in the multipage threads. In trying to access new posts and often all posts on the last ( i.e. the newest) page I end up getting a message which in effect states that the post may have been moved or deleted and to try again.I have tried again with the same results.Administration's suggestion of clearing the 'cache ?' did not work either.Is anyone else having similar problems? Also if any members can suggest steps to fix this problem I would appreciate their input.Thanks. Harjinder

It is all about "moderated threads". The files posted by new members go through a moderation process, and hence do not appear immediately. The file posted by them is shown in the list of attachments, but if you click on them, you get that message.

HF admin can modify that message with a more meaningful message.

Thanks for your help.After reading what you said about moderating process I have been wondering whether I am still considered a new member. My own two threads are probably going through this moderation process too since I cannot access even my own posts and uploads (the new ones). Harjinder

Harjinder ji, I don't think Angels are under moderation. And you are here for much longer for your posts to be moderated. Generally the moderation is over after a few months.

Due to my lack of experience, I understood the problem only very little. But here is a suggestion; not sure if it will make a difference.

When you open the thread, near the top right hand corner of the thread is the 'Options' button. Clicking it will show following display mode options:

switch to: outline
standard
switch to: Linear

I have set mine in 'standard' mode.

Please see if this makes a difference.
