1. yes - this is an original - from a CD
2. 'farmaish' means a request - in other words, it meant that this song was requested by a member of HF

i also noticed ( the other day when you played this song on HF radio and again today when i heard it ) that the interlude music for this song is a direct and complete copy of the theme song from the James Bond film 'You only live twice' which was released in the year 1967 !!

Here's a lovely duet of Rafi and Lata - which was played in the C Ramchandra Special radio program yesterday over HF Radio. From the film Nausherwan-e-Adil 1957, starring Raaj Kumar and Mala Sinha. Lovely lilting music of C Ramchandra. Good sound quality.

A rare duet with Asha ...from the film Mr. Qartoon M.A. 1958 ( just out of curiosity, wouldn't mind seeing a movie with such a strange name !! - stars Johny Walker, Shyama, Mehmood ).
