While I was comparing my collection of Geeta ji’s songs with the data base provided on your web site “geetadutt.com” it was noticed that the database shows the following two songs from film Aahuti-1950.
1—char dinon ki athkheliyan
2—dil jo tumko de diya

I have four songs in my collection from this very film sung by Geetaji & others. After checking the Geet Kosh it was revealed that in the following five songs the name of Geetaji is mentioned.

1—taaron bhari chunariya odhe aazadi aayee--------geeta roy & saathi
2—lehron se khele chanda------------------------------geeta, shanker das gupta
3—dil ke bas mein hai jahan---------------------------geeta & shanker das gupta
4—dil jo tumko de diya---------------------------------geet roy
5—char dinon ki athkheliyan--------------------------geeta,shanty verma &saa[/b]thi

I have song no 2-4 in my collection. Can somebody pl clarify this mistery. Being an amateur music collector any error in the above database is regretted.

The database is a work in progress. Thanks for pointing out the missing songs. The databases have been changed to reflect the six songs of Aahuti now.
If you or other members find any other details that need to be updated feel free to mention here or mail me. The databases shall get updated at the earliest possible opportunity. Thanks a lot for contributing like this. Infact, we have been looking for volunteers for the update but for various reasons it couldn't happen till now.

The complete album of Aahuti was uploaded on HF by our friend Erum Hashmi ji who is fighting with a disease. We all wish her a speedy recovery. I will surely re-upload this album. All the songs are very melodious and lovely. My personal favorite of the album is "Dil ke bas mein..waqt se kehdo ke thehare.."
