I have two out of three .....But I couldn't find or trace it out the third one. Can u give me some info or is it the first line? Because my database is not showing this one.
Subir
Thank you so much Subir. In fact I expected a positive reponse from you. Thank you once again for the songs.
In respect of the third song, let me tell you I heard that song live, sitting very close to this great great singer long back.It left such a lasting impression in my mind that I still remember 50-60% of that song even after such a long time.
I cannot hold myself but telling you that it was a very rare experience for me. It was not that he was singing and the listeners were enjoying but what I felt, he himself was enjoying singing, mesmerising everyone around.Even I saw his accompanists, great tabla maestro Radhakanta Nandy & Amar Dutta(Topada) smiling. These are some experience Subir which are beyond my capacity to express.May God give our respected Manna Dey long long life.
Now about the 3rd song-it goes more or less like this...as far I remember:-
Karon Akaroner Bera Bhenge Amar Mon Bhareni,
Tai Akaron e Karon Dhorechhi- Amay Baron Korona Maa Tarini,
Karon Akaroner Bera.
Amar Krishna Pokkhye Shuklo Pokkhye,
Ke Je Pokkhye Aar Ke Je Bipokkhye,
Se Sab Takkke Na Giye Maa,
Eyi Tritiya Pokkhye Pelam Rokkhye.
Akon Eri Sakkhye Din Kate Maa,
Loke Bole Boluk Amay Tricharini,
Karon Akaroner Bera.......
(The song is in Tappa style)
Sorry to bother you with such a long post,
-Sita.
