While searching on RMIM, I found a post with a list of amazing rare numbers of Geeta ji, most of them never heard before.

Requesting the generous members to share these :

2) "Padmini" - Mere naina kajala bharey... ( The GR voice is haunting under GH)

3) "Batohi" - Suno mere bhagwan... (yet another pleading GR solo under S.K.Pal)

4) "Char Minar" - Mohabat jawan hai... ( a sizzling GD voice under Sardul Kwatra)

~~5) "Teesri Galli" - Ek patanga.... ( a raunchy number of GD under Chitragupta)~~

~~6) "Hum Safar" - Mat karo kisi sey pyar...( a masti-filled advice of GD ! )~~

~~7) "Majboor" - Mera koi nahi.. (Gulam Hyder brings out the best out of GR's voice)~~ I think this is the same as "Main toh rah gayee aaj akeli re", so I have it.

Dear Romesh, I listened to this lovely song again and again over the weekend. A very excellent song of late forties. Any one knows the lyricist and the composer of this song ? I get a feeling that the composer are the talented two Husnalal Bhagataram sahab !

I couldn't identify the first song title. Then, I notice that in another thread, Mahesh has posted the list of 5 songs sung by Geeta Dutt in Padmini.

Based on my information, this film "Naagan" was never released. I guess you are saying that Harbanslal is the song of the great composer Pandit Amarnath sahab. Since I do not have this song (and not sure if this song is mentioned in the HFGK or not) I do not know how can some one "prove" that the song is indeed composed by Harbanslal or not.

Based on my information, this film "Naagan" was never released. I guess you are saying that Harbanslal is the song of the great composer Pandit Amarnath sahab. Reviving the request for the following rare gems

1) "Padmini" - More angna kaag na bole, nayan mere kajle bhare... ( The Geeta Roy voice is haunting under Master Ghulam Haider)

2) "Batohi" - Suno mere bhagwan... (yet another pleading Geeta Roy solo under S.K.Pal)

3) "Nagan" - Tere bina saajana... (a grief-stricken Geeta Roy under Harbanslal)

4) "Shuk Rambha" - Mere baalon mein...(Geeta Dutt under Manna Dey's music..!)

5) "Sapna" - Kaari koyaliya...(Geeta Dutt at her best under Shyam Babu Phatak !)
