Again posting one of my very favs of NJ- chandni raatein.
This song again I first time heard in the voice of non NJ singer - Richa sharma(??) . and composer was bally sagoo.
Only few years ago I came to know tht its original singer was Noor jehan. but I still dont know the original lyricst who shd be appreciated for such great lyrics............... ! one of the best scores on " Chandni raatein "and those "sleepless nights". one more such song that I can recall is from Great gambler - Hum unse mahobat karke....... meri neend gayi chain gaya............wo chain se sote hai"
( please post abt lyricst and original composer . they shd their due credits for this great compo ! )

this is the version available..but it seems to be a kind of touched up version...like they have done with quite a few of the pakistani songs..
is it the original..?

Many Pakistani film songs from 50s and 60s were
issued by music shops etc with extra bit of music
they called Jhankaar. Some liked this practice while
most did not. May be the Dupatta file being reffered
is of jhankar type. I think Pulkit will have clean original.
If interested make a request in Noorjahan forum.
BTM....here is the song ripped from the flv file of the movie..pretty decent. I got it in Wav format for the depth...maybe this should suffice...
