There are four singers in that song. The fourth singer, by the name of Francis Waz, sings in what I guessed is Konkani. The singer's name seems Goan.

Francis Waz is a typical Goan/mangalore xian name!!

makka = I/me
odi = big/long (tho long would actually be deeguh - but with this context it will be odi)
needuh = nap/sleep

I'ld like to know one more thing...Is there only ONE KONKANI??? I mean....does the language differ from place to place??? I mean....the Konkani spoken in different parts of India....Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra etc.... ....can someone throw more light on this???

Haan there is a major difference..

Goan/Mangalore Xian speak somewhat similar

North Canara Konkani is a bit different (probably Marati influence)

South Canara Konkani has the influence of Kannada in it.

I SO want to be able to speak Konkani like my peeps in Goa do! With those nasal intonations. It hurts me to listen to Konkani spoken by someone who's lived in M'rashtra most of his life ... yours truly for one. You may get all the words right, but if don't get that tone, you ain't there!
