In the post-1970 Telugu film music, Ilayaraja's combo with Balu, S.Janaki and Chitra is really a high-point.

In Film:Sitara (1983), there is a Balu song, "Kukku Ku, Kokila Raave". I never get tired of listening to it. In this song, the expressiveness in Balu's voice certainly reminds me of the legendary singer who was always Balu's inspiration!!
