I know there is a Lata Solo "Tu Kahan Kho Gaya....". Is there a duet also of Rafi-Lata of same title?.

Please let me know so that I will consider to down load the Duet "Tu Kahan...

Any way many thanks for the SINGAPORE Tracks.

Kamala Ji, I have checked it out. It is Lata solo only. No Rafi-Lata duet of that title, I think.

Sonu Ji,

I sincerely appreciate these uploads of yours from Singapore (1960).

Well, all the songs of this Film were popular during olden days, but the following were more popular than others:
1.Rasa Saayung Re, 2.Hat Jao Deewane Aaye, 3.Dekho Ji Dekho Sun Le and 4.Dhoka Khaayegi Na Yaron Ki Nazar

But, personally, I like the Rafi solo, "Dhoka Khaayegi Na Yaron Ki Nazar" the most. And I am sure that this very stylish and rhythmic tune was composed by Jaikishan only! In this song, I also love the interlude bits by that 'string' instrument, whatever it is! Of course, Ab Rafi Saab Ke Rendition Ke Baare Mein Kya Bolein!

And consider how Shammi Kapoor would have enacted it with Padmini!

Venkat

PS. One more thing. I did not have this nice "Dhoka Khaayegi" song with me, but it did not occur to me so far to ask for it in my Rafi thread! Anyway, thanks to you, I now have it.

Kamala ji sorry thoda mistake ho gaya. its a lata solo not RAfi- Lata duet. I have corrected it.

This movie had 3 lata - rafi duets. among max from SJ. Dil tera deewana was another movie with such high no of lata rafi duets duets. college girl and Dil tera deewana had 4 duets each. Dil tera deewana stands out as best such movie with great Lata- RAfi duets !

Venkat ji thanks from my side atleast someone gives feedbak abt movie.

yes Even my fav is " dhokha khayegi na " . I also like coz its good line liners. infact I also like one v good liner song by Rafi-mana from Sacchai - eh dost maine dunya dekhi hai !

"Dhoka khayegi " looks like Jaikishan song. but cant say with surety. Check the accordion and bongos in whole songs. excellent used.

Even I got these songs recently from my grp member and found them bit diff from other songs of SJ of same era.

Regards

Sonu
