Mehnaz should make a big splashing comeback in movies.
All's needed is a few good Urdu poets, some young innovative classical musicians.

From 1983 film 'Kabhi Alvida na Kehna'.
This was a remake of Masoom, with Shabnam, Javed Sheikh, and Sabeeta.
Noor Jehan also sang this song, mera pyar bhi too, zindagi bhi he too.
Mehnaz got the Nigar award for her songs in this film.
I'm surprised why it hasn't been copied yet in a new movie.

A few years back a friend in USA asked me for a song
and gave the following stats:

'tere mere pyaar ka bandhan'
Movie: Qurbani (Pakistani) from 80ies.
Singer: Mehnaz

Querring about this song, I learned that the movie
had Shabnam and Nadeem in the cast.

I could not find the song in any of her available compilations
nor the vcd of the movie could be had.

Anybody having the song and willing to share ??

A little reminiscent of another Mehnaz song from Bazaare Husn:
aaj kya baat he sarkar vo pehle se nahin
badle badle se hein aasar vo pehle se nahin
which in turn is reminiscent of a Lata song with similar lyrics. If anyone knows which song I'm referring to, please let me know.

This one is from khushbu. Filmed on Rani again. An obedient wife singing for an arrogant husband who only wanted to marry her for his ego and didn't want anything from her afterwards.
Mehdi Hasan also sings this later on and another dramatic version by Mehnaz filmed on Mumtaz later on in the film.
