Sounds like Asha at times. One reason why S Janaki is my fav Mallu singer.

Any information on the music director for this film and the year?

Very hard to find any info. The film seems to be 1978. I always thot it was an 80s one.
Music seems to be some AT Ummer. Dunno kaun hai. So this is a copy of the Hindi one. Funnily the Malayalam lyrics seem to fit the tune far better.
I see Illayarja's name popping up in searches. Is there a tamil orginal?
