Hello Folks,
The death of great Kannada actor Dr.Rajkumar is indeed saddening. To me he is one of the best actors/singers ever to emerge in Indian cinema. Not only was he an actor with a lot of common sense, he honoured, respected everyone and revered by everyone around. I grew up watching Dr.Rajkumar's b&w classics and colour flicks. In the early days it was the great P.B.Shreenivas who playbacked for him until Rajkumar himself began singing almost all the songs in his movies later on. Not many people seem to realize that he was a classically trained singer. I have been listening to Rajkumar songs all day since his demise. The songs sent me down the memory lane. I am posting a couple of Rajkumar songs here for you all.

These two are from one of his biggest hits from 1970s called ' Babruvaahana ', both are semi-classical, a testament to Dr.Raj's Classical music background.

A light classical number - a fued between Arjun and his son, Babruwahan. I have been searching this number sung by RajKumar and P.B.Srinivas, for a long time. Rajkumar sings for Babruwahan and P.B.Srinivas for Arjun.

Another soft number by Rajkumar and S.Janaki from Naa Ninna Mareyalare. The song is Nannaseya Hoove. I like the tune, especially in the stanzas.
