When Her Majesty Suraiyya sings, song comes out from bottom of the heart & goes deeeeeep in the listner's heart.
Ye diwaanaa dil, na jaane kahaan kho jaata hai.
Here is one more such example......
O Mera Dildaar Na Milaaayaaaa,
Main Kya Jaanu Teri Ye Khudaaii.
Friends, pl provide the information on this song.
As far as I know, this is from the movie Shama Parwana (1954), *ing Suraiya with Shammi Kapoor; MD was Husnlal Bhagatram.
Will download and listen later - thanks.

HI
Happened to stray here.
I had heard this song in my childhood....and I think the wordings are:
TUNE MERA YAAR NA MILAAYA..
MAI.N KYA JAANU.N TERI KHUDAAI,
TUNE MERA YAAR, TUNE MERA YAAR....
But I am quoting from memory. This song is a complaint against the Creator that He has not been instrumental in making the lovers unite; so how he could recognise His Creative Aspects?
Used to be popular on the radio broadcasts in the fifties.
Regards.
NASIR
Beautiful song by the great and immortal Rafi Sahaab.
