Which album are these from--I notice the songs are numbered 17 & 18. Which are the other songs on the album? Which year are these? Sound like 50s. I have heard geet kitne ga chuki hoon but did not have the song--the other one was new to me.

rafi & Asha....Film: Suhaag

Priyaji, this was from Rare-Non Film Ghazals/Geets CD, bought from Indianscreen.com. It has only 2 Non-Film songs of Ashaji and remaining ones are from other singers like Mohd.Rafi , Hemant Kumar, Talat Saab etc. ( I Have already posted in respective forums). These are I think from early fifties and there is no other information on the cover, except for the singer name and lyrics.
These are also not available with Hamara CD.

Bade hain dil ke kaale is from Dil Deke dekho - 1959. MD Usha Khanna. It is one of those rare tandem - in the movie (if I remember it right), there's this Rafi song first - Megha re bole, followed by this duet immediately.

Another such instance that readily comes to mind is Guide - Lataji's Mose Chhal and Rafi saab's - Kya Se Kya Ho Gaya.

Can anyone recall anymore such songs?

Speaking of Guide... one of the movies I can watch over and over periodically. This list includes Sangam, Jewel Thief, Mughal E Azam ...

Thanks for the correction Talaikyaji, I am sure you like these number. I was really amazed by their good quality about those two songs -Zindagi aur Toofan which I had d/l from a website very long back and now found it. I wonder why other original songs from Hamara CD or RPG are not of such good quality.

VN bk is Vishwas Nerurkar's bk which has the complete stats of asha's hindi output till 1993 or so. Very useful. It can be got only from the author and his selected dealers I think.
