Uploading songs from a relatively rare album of Lata Mangeshkar - "Lata Sings Gurbani" (1979)

Music by: Singh Bandhu, Tejpal Singh, Surinder Singh

Songs have been ripped directly from LP - and at the best quality that the software allowed. There are 8 songs in total.

Much much thanks goes to Surinder Dhall, who made these gorgeous songs available to all of us. (I am uploading on his behalf; and I think one of the songs was uploaded by Bobby-ji about 2 months back - and now U all have the complete album)

Couple of things to note. You have to be a trusted member in order to be able to
download songs from this forum. CLick on the orange "Trusted membership" button
that is next to every post.
Attachments are automatically deleted by the system after a month. So you will
find a lot of older posts that have references to attachments that have since been
deleted. YOu will need to re-request songs that you would like and typically somebody
on the forum is kind enough to oblige by re-uploading the songs.
As you start to download music from this site, you may find that you are in the
position of responding to somebody else's request and that keeps the forum active
and everybody helping each other out.
Of course, there are people like cinemaniac and Bobby Mudgel and Priya and dharamvir
and mohammad and unni (if he ever returns) to name just a few who often post songs
that are not to be found easily. I am sure I have missed out several people who have
contributed rare songs to this forum. Those are the maharathis whose posts you look
out for and download it if you are a music lover/collector.

A big Thanks to Sani for playing Deh Shiva on Radio. It made me pull out the other Gurubani by Lata I had stacked away in a cassette and convert them to MP 3

Thanks for this excellent download! The technical aspect is perfect. What do you use for Vinyl to mp3 conversion?

I am not entirely sure...this was my first Vinyl rip at Mr.Dhall's house back in 2005 or 2006. I think it was most likely Adobe Audition, judging by the VBR. I also used to use dBPoweramp those days. So definitely one of these two.

The problem with Audition is that it is quite easy to overkill/over-process the file and/or misuse it, if the person does not know what he/she is doing.
