This thread is devoted to Old Pakistani film songs from my collection.
I am starting it with a lovely duet song ( requested by Ummer in Nasim Begum thread), "Baadlon mein chhup raha hai chaand kyon", its from film 'Ik Tera Sahara' (1963) Music by Master Inayat Hissain.

Just downloaded "Lak patla patang". I thought it is some new song, but I already have it on VCD (How could I miss Zubaida's number ) It is from Yakkey Wali.... Have you seen the picturization of this song ? Why that girl is making funny faces But thanx for the song on mp3, as Yaake Wali VCD is jaali, so it only works on DVD/VCD player and freezes on my computer.

I think I have the song "Pehli pehli wari mainu", lemme check.

Do you have Zubaida's number from Raat Kai Rahi "aag sai na khelo babu ji"? and Ahmed Rushdie/Zubaida duets from the same film? I only have 2 solos from Raat Kai Rahi "kya huwa dil pai sitam" and "ae badaloun kai rahi".

Ya -- The picturization of 'Lak Patla...' is so funny --- Mein tou samjha, the song is picturized on male actor because she was acting like a 'Heejra'.

Jamal! This is one of the 'Bazgasht' (Rivival) series. Volume 10. Released by Burhan CDs Lahore. I think you have one of the volume from this series. (National song waala).

Haan ji Inaam bhai - Rahmat waalon ke paas list hai. They say that they have 8 or 9 of the songs from the list and they will get the rest, they are sending the list to other collectors so Inshallah we should get at least some rare gems from them.

Here is one more from your list. Qol naein bhulde ne, neer paey duldey ne , It is picturized on (my favorite actress ) Musarrat Nazir. It is from 'Yake Waali' (1957). Unfortunatly there is no information about the film, year and MD on the CD cover

The song I requested, 'Pehli pehli waari...' is also from 'Yake Waali'. Mila kya?

I downloaded it because I didn't recognise the title and didn't think I had it, but when I heard it it sounds very familiar and I'm not sure where I would have heard it before. In any case, it is a great song - I really love Pakistani film music from around this time.
