Oh! In Bangalore? I'm sure such a CD will be available here in Delhi too... HMV's CDs and cassettes on him are very very rare. I remember they once had a box of ten cassettes (Anmol Ratna) on him, nothing after that.

Haven't tried Chandni Chowk for KLS songs... Got a Guru CD a couple of days ago. Had all songs, but the collection was good.
Listen, have you seen a wonderful movie called Shakka? I got that too, because SS told me it has a lovely KK solo. And that solo is indeed stunning.

hi friends..suddenly i have noticed that i can download files , cant tell how happy i am ..

coming back to the songs nimii ,thnx alot for uploading.. but the problem is same are the songs playing at correct speed? which ithink no ...saigal saab's voice was fresh , beautiful and husky (as told by alot of old saigal lovers whom i have met here)but not shriek.
i am posting some of the same songs but original versions except babul mora which is same version as yours but playing at correct speed. see the difference

i wish one day i get all saigal songs with the correct speed ...

yeah true insushi...i am not only a true fan of kl saigals singing but my life now moves around his singing..i dont know that how my thoughts evolved from jimmir hendrix , u2 etc's singing to kl saigal but iam sure that its hell alot of change ,which takes my imagination to new heights.
Surely he was a musical genius , who didnot need any music to go with his singing but his voice it self was a music...

thanx inushi.... i couldnt post in detail earlier as i was bit busy.

I got another version of mein kiya janoon .. which i believe is closest to actual playing speed..
one of my uncles had some 78 rpm records of saigal and i can still recall my self him listening to the songs early in the morning, perhaps its then that those songs and their actual playing speeds got stuck to my memory.

i know i stress too much on speed of the songs at which they are recorded but iam sure every one would want to listen to correct versions interms of playing speed and voice..
