West: They all sound the same:-) because i don't understand what they r singing Yeh, Elvis was good compared to current batch! I prefer 60's and 80"s english songs!

1.) Geeta Dutt
2.) Pretty much everyone except (Asha Bhonsle, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar voice quality, not some of the songs they have sung...Credits there goes to MD, Lyricists, I would prefer it in someone else's voice (s)).

Western:

It seems in the West they are much more talented on an average than East....No one is really BAD!! Their songs in the films of 200s are also of a very high quality....e.g. Song from Hugh Grant's About A Boy " Killing me softly...)(Not talking about rap or hard rock)

(whether it be the classical ones in 50s-70s or even now)

In West all sing great on an average...I find it difficult to have a favorite!!!
Just like in Western Academia no is a bad teacher at Universities...unlike in our colleges and Univs in India, no one teaches below a certain average quality!!!

kishore kumar was the man but...

even i didnt like every one of his song if i was being totally honest & realistic.

i know fans shud like any rubbish- i certainly dnt agree with that.
