ranikhet is well connected by bus or taxi from kathgodam or haldwani. it takes about 2.5 hours by car and 4 hours by bus.
To get to kathgodam or haldwani you can take overnight 7 hours train from old delhi station or same thing from lucknow or agra.
It is about 70 km further out from nainital
