Renowned musician Amjad Boby died on April 16. He was one of the best (and busy) Pakistani composers of the modern days and gave countless hits in the last decade or so. Amjad Bobby was basically the mainstay for the music of Urdu films. His carrier spanned over 40 years. He started his film career in 1969 with film "Ik Nageena" and composed some films in the 70s and 80s but he got success from the mid 90s. Amjad Bobby made a lot of decent and sometimes really awesome tunes, some of his memorable compositions includes:

Baabul tou duaein deta hai – Noor Jehan – Baaraat
Mein Hoti Ik Mori – Mehnaaz – Baaraaat
Ik Baar Milo Hmse - Salma Aaga – Bobby
Karta Rahonga Yaad Tujhe Mein – A Nayyar – Naqsh e Qadam
Kuchh Chehray Aisay Hotay Hain – Salma Aagha – Qatilon Ke Qatil
Mera Pyaar Bhi Tu – Noor Jehan -Kabhi Alwida Na Kehna
Apni Saanson Mein Tujh Ko – Noor Jehan – Kabhi Alwida Na Kehna
Dekha Jo Chehra Tera – Arshad Mehmood – Ghoongat
Yeh Dil aap ka hua - Kveeta Krishna Murti,Kumar Sanu - Yeh Dil aap ka hua
Tum mile jab se - Kveeta Krishna Murti, Kumar Sanu - Yeh Dil aap ka hua
Woh Larki hai ya jadu- Sonu Niggam - Yeh Dil aap ka hua
Pehley to kabhi Kabhi gham tha - Rahim Shah - Yeh Dil aap ka hua
Nikli Ghar se karke singhar. - Saira Naseem- Tere Pyaar Mein
Tera naam Hatheli par likh kar - Saima Lata – Ghar Kab Aao Ge
Dil Ke Badle Dil to saari dunia deti hai – Udit Narain – Ghar Kab Aao Ge
Aa pyar Dil mein jaga- Waris Baig - Sangam
Dil tor ke na ja- Saira Naseem - Sangam
Surmai Badlon ke peechhe chhup gya- Waris Baig – Sangam
Dil ho geya hai tera deevana - Taskeen Javed - Mushkil

Four of his films were still under production, which included Shehzad Gul's Eman, Javaid Sheikh's Khulay Aasmaan Ke Neeche, Reema's Koi Tujh Sa Kahan and Javaid Raza's Koi Piyar Na Kare. His passing away is a really big loss for the Pak film industry. He introduced a number of now well-known singers such as Shazia Maznzoor etc.

May Allah rest him in peace.
