(Jeetendra) Aap ke Deewane (1980)

For Rakesh Roshan, the actor who made many successful movies as producer and director, this was his maiden production venture. He costarred in this film with Rishi Kapoor, who has been his friend since his childhood. He also is a close friend of Jeetendra. Because there was no suitable role in the film for him, Rakesh requested him to make a guest appearance. Jeetendra agreed and appeared in a dance number in guest role.

Incidentally, Hrithik Roshan, currently one of the popular actors, son of Rakesh, made his debut as a child artiste in this film.

(Rajendra) Lovers (1983)

This fine musical was based on the hit Telugu film "Seethakoka Chilaka (1981)". The Telugu film had some of the smashing music composed by Ilaiyaraja. I will upload songs from the Telugu film following this. My favorite form this RD's album is "Tu Mauj".

Seethakoka Chilaka (1981) - A Telugu Film

This movie was the basis for "Lovers (1983)". It has some of the smashing music composed by Ilaiyaraja. Love these songs. Here they are...
