Saksham, thanks for this album. The song "Chup chup khade ho" made Lata ji a household name and was instrumental in making her number one female playback singer. Pandit Husnlal personally trained and groomed Lata ji for about six years. Today only few know about these great composers who gave memorable and melodious music.

Cheers
Parag

Parag sir,

You are most welcome. smile.gif
Recently on RMIM, I started a thread to discuss Lata ji and Asha ji's classical abilities. People came up with names of singers whom Asha trained under. But no information about Lata ji was shared. Its interesting to know that Husnlal trained Lata for as long as six years. Was he a classically trained singer/musician himself? Or was it more of an informal training in singing techniques, voice modulation etc.?

Warm regards,
Saksham
