(Sunil) Chhaya (1961)
Hrishida made several beautiful movies. However, he also made a share of so so to some bad movies. He directed this "so so" movie for AVM Studios of Madras. He was working here with a very thin story that didn't have much appeal. One of the standout things about this film was its music. It shows why Salida was so dependable. Every song from the album was a huge hit. This vehicle provided an opportunity for Talat to lend his voice to some beautiful songs. He has three solos and a duet, all unforgettable and all chart busters. I am uploading these songs on request. All of these except for one are from an original soundtrack album. The exception is a special version of the song "Chham Chham". This has sargam associated with it and is thanks to the courtesy of our fellow Forum member, Aditya Pant. Here are these beautiful songs... Attached image(s) |

(Sunil) Post Box 999 (1959)
Before Kalyanji and Anandji became a team, Kalyanji was a solo music director. He gave music to about 10 or so films before teaming up with his brother Anandji. This popular album is one of his solo efforts. Several songs from this film became hits. A couple of them were chart busters. Both of these were duets, one by Lata and Mannada, "Mere Dil Mein Hai Ek Baat" and the other by Lata and Hemantda, "O Neend Na Mujh Ko Aaye". I am uploading songs from this album on request in two back-to-back posts. The first post contains songs from the film, all from an original soundtrack album. The second post contains several extended version songs. Here are the songs in the first post... This post has been edited by swarapriya: Aug 9 2011, 01:39 PM Attached image(s) |

(Jeetendra) Himmat (1970)
I am uploading songs from this film, all except for one from an original soundtrack album, in two back-to-back posts on request. The song "Himmat Kare" is due to the Forum members. Thank you. Unfortunately, this song has several skips between 3:25 to 3:45 minutes. Therefore, I am also including a shortened version of the same song without this antara. The shorter version is even though not complete, is at least clean without skips. Here are the songs in the first post... Attached image(s) |
