(Hema) Kudrat (1981)

This Chetan Anand film had shades of Bimlada's memorable classic "Madhumati (1958)". It also had beautiful music composed by RD with several lovely songs. Tithe standout of the album is the song “Humein Tum Se Pyaar Kitna". A great song sung separately by Kishoreda and Parveen Sultana; both separately rendered and composed. The one sung by Kishoreda was composed in popular style whereas the song by Sultana was composed in the classical style.

(Rekha) Agreement (1980)

Shailendra Singh, who was introduced as a singer in Raj Kapoor's "Bobby" in 1973, acted in some three movies. This is one of them where he played opposite Rekha. I have four songs from this film that I am uploading here. I am not sure whether there are any others in this film. If so, please kindly share the missing songs with rest of us. Thank you.

(Hema) Maan Gaye Ustad (1981)

Here are all of the songs from this album. There are several nice songs in this film including a beautiful duet of Asha & Rafi Saab and a couple of nice solos by Asha. But Rafi Saab's solo, "Allah Ka Naam", takes the top honors.

By the way, the song "Mera Ek Sawaal Hai" came in at nearly 8 minutes long. I am not sure why but the last three minutes are repeats of the first antara making it that long. If anyone is interested I can upload the full version. The song I am uploading here is with the repeated antaras removed.

(Mala) Phir Kab Milogi (1974)

Hrishida's maiden directorial venture was "Musafir" made in 1957. Until that time he was an editor for many fine films. "Musafir" boasted a stellar cast including the great Dilip Kumar, who even sang a song in that film. Dilip Saab appears as a guest in this Hrishida directed film after 17 years.

Another interesting feature about this move is that Mukesh makes a rare appearance as a singer for RD's film. When they collaborated for the heartwarming song "Jis Gali Mein Tera Ghar Na Ho" in "Kati Patang" in 1970 that became an instant classic, I expected more from them. Too bad they didn't continue their association.
