(Amitabh) Yaarana (1981)

This is one of the beautiful albums from Rajesh Roshan. Almost all songs from this film became chart busters. My favorite of the album is Kishoreda's touching rendering of the song "Chhoo Kar Mere Mann Ko". This song is really special and I love the way Kishoreji sang it.

Here are all the songs from this pleasant winner...

(Jeetendra) Lok Parlok (1979)

This movie was remade from the Telugu film "Yama Gola" made in 1978. The Telugu film starred N.T. Rama Rao and was a massive hit. Interestingly the Telugu film itself was a remake of Rama Rao's earlier hit film "Devanthakudu" made in 1960. Also, this movie was remade in Telugu, one more time, in 2007. It was called "Yama Donga". This was also a hit. It starred NTR Jr, who is the grandson of Rao.

I will upload songs from the 1978 Telugu film in this thread immediately following the Hindi film songs. Here are the songs from the Hindi version...

Yama Gola (1978) - A Telugu Film

This movie was the basis for the Hindi film "Lok Parlok (1979)". It was a huge hit with many popular songs. Here are the songs from this film...

(Rajendra) Patang (1960)

This album by Chitraguptji appears to have resemblance to his compositions from other films. For example, the title song from this film has shades of similarities to the hit song, "Chal Chali Re Patang", from "Bhabhi (1957)". Similarities or not, there are some fine songs in this album. I have also heard Parts 3 and 4 of the title song but they are duplicate antras from Part 2. Because I am uploading Part 2, I don't see any need to upload Parts 3 & 4.

My favorites songs of this album are both of the solos by Lata. But the standout song of the album is the solo "Rang Dil Ki". It is beautifully written and melodiously composed that is brought to life in Lataji's mellifluous voice.

I am uploading songs from this fine album in back-to-back posts on request. Here are the songs from the first post...

(Dharmednra) Aakash Deep (1965)

This film boasts outstanding music from the music director Chitraguptji. While all songs are good, there are two of my favorite songs in this album. These are Rafi Saab's superb "Mujhe Dard-E-Dil Ka Pata Na Tha" and Lata's exquisite "Dil Ka Diya". Especially I love Lata's song. These are the types of songs why Lataji will be remembered as a legend for ages to come. There is so much such sweetness in her voice. There is such wonderful feeling in her singing. Like the beautiful fragrance of a freshly bloomed flower, it lingers in your senses even long after you experienced it...

I am uploading these songs on request in two back-to-back posts. The first post contains all of the songs from this film. Some of these were contributed by the members of this Forum. Thank you all for such generosity to share. The second post contains some of the extended versions.

Here are the songs from this beautiful album...
