You called poor Shyam an 'ox'. The 'moron' reference, however, is most-uh appropriate wunly.

Can Some one translate the following lyrics to malayalam.
It is from the song 'Vaisaga sandhye ' vaisaga sandhye nin chundilenthe aruma sagithan kirana kaanthiyo Omale parayu nee vinnil ninnum paari vanna lavanyamo ( what is Lavanyam mean?) what the whole line mean? then the line hridaya mukula thandriyeki devamrutham( what is devamrutham?) what the whole line means? then the line malarilathil maduvasantham poothu vidarnnu rathinadiyil jalatharangam neele muzhangi(No idea about whole line) Don't wonder even without knowing the whole meaning this is my alltime favourite malayalam song.I may have heared this song minimum 500 times.Older malayalam songs are too difficult to understand. regds Ashraf dil doondtha hain phir vohi fursat ke raat din

HI
Actually I don't know the pure Malayalam. What I know is spoken and written Malayalam...Enikku malayalam songs ishttam illatthathinu kaaranam I can't understand it's heavy lyrics(older songs)..For example...there is song'Pramadavanam veendum'...I don't know ...hwhat it meant....I can understand Hindi song lyrics better than these songs...May be bcs I am back in Malayalam or Lyric writers are too ahead us in Malayalam.Still I enjoy those olden goldies. Pinne I llnever forget Malayalam...I am too nostalgic about my Village,My Calicut,My School,My college(Devagiri &Govt Arts). My University(Calicut)..My Keralam and My India..But for the time being I am busy ...that is why I often not comes in this thread.. by the way...I typed all in English..sorry for that. Regds Ashraf N.B:....I have seen that Priyaji is busy in Noorjahan section...Really I don't know who is this NoorJahan?...I never heared about her..Is she famous than Geeta Dutt to have a separate section?..Then why I did n't hear about her dil doondtha hain phir vohi fursat ke raat din

Pssst... actually enikkyum adhhehatthu patthi sheriyaayittu ariyilla ! Peyru maathram keyytittu unnaayirunnu. Got propoerly introduced thru HF. Actually Priya, Im quite proud (and jealous ) of you. Being from Kerala, u have such a beautiful taste and knowledge in a Pakistani singer is indeed commendable . And me being from Bombay, have no clue about her (Was more busy gathering info about Rafi ). Thanks to you and others at NJ forum, I'm just beginning to collect a few gems and enjoy her style of singing. Thanks so much You actually epitomise my own signature ! (*which doesnt put me in such a good light though *) jinhein ataa kii hai tu ne taaqat, unhein hidaayat kii roshnii de |

Endu paraynnu Priya??? (Infact I was surprised that Priya hadn't commented on this one earlier..... )

Ya Shyam ... me asking to be forgiven But nevertheless, the point I wanted to stress was Priya's efforts to follow her career and have such a huge collection of her songs.
