Whare and How the MAS Files to be uploaded..
I saw a link for File Attachments with the message post interface... Should it be the ideal way of posting a File/song?

Yes the only way. Its always the only way naa multipart encoding? You want drag and drop facility or anything?

I tried to upload one MP3 file (Mera paigham size 1.1 mb )... and after 5 mins of upload (it took its time for full upload), it gave me an error..
Sorry, you can not upload THIS TYPE of file...
Can we not upload MP3s?

No I didn't meant a facility.. but I meant with a seperate section for uploading files.. not with messages.. some kind of "Files" section.. where we keep only uploaded files..

Pavan ji, Try zipping the mp3 and then upload. I'm still unable to download a couple of zip files here. Lets see.. I will retry now and if its not working then will post a note.

Dear Pavan,
No such facility does not exist on this board. I have created a sub forum called files under all the main forums, which we can treat as uploading section. With this message kind of attachment we have full libertyof adding additional info about the song. Just like how we do it when we email it to out friends.
You are most welcome on this board. Did you get my email I had sent 2 weeks back. The email has not bounced back... did you ever receive it? Or is it like my dvds that I ordered.. na idhar na udhar.

Naw I couldnt. Its that song you uploaded under thread "Rafi saab and melody, From MAS Archives" from movie Akalmand. It shows a dialog box and asks me where I want to download file and then just saves 1kb file.
I was able to download it completely, when I tried now. May be others can give their feedback. In the mean time I will upload it... u know where.

I had posted all the four songs on our previous file section on Oct 30 / Nov 1. I assumed u downloaded it. Will upload it again here and this time will ask u to acknowledge
