I have recorded number of rare songs from radio and still recording from SLBC and Vividh Bharti. But I do not have much time to share on HF.I hope I will have time after Dec.2009.Till then I will try to upload some songs on HF. Here I am uploading a rare song which has not been uploaded on HF yet.

Kirat ji please give details of slbc frequency and timings. i shall also try to tune into it for recording purposes.

I do listen to vividh bharti now and then but old rare songs are getting fewer there except for one odd in bhoole bisre geet programme. Is there any other program which I may be missing out for rares? In my place it comes on FM and I maybe able to get a better recording.

I listen bhoole bisre geet of vividh bharati and slbc purani filmon ke geet 7.30 AM to 8.00 >some times I listen Aapki Pasand on SLBC 8.00 to 8.30AM.Frequencies are 11905KHz on 25meter band and 7190 KHz on 41 meter band But reception is good on 25meter band

Is it possible to catch Srilanka Hindi service in Sydney Australia on 25 meter band? I used to listen SL radio a lot till 1999. Apart from morning show which always ends with KL Saigol song they had Bhole bhisre songs every Thursday night and Hemesha jawaan geet every sunday night which bstarts with lata song from Afsana " Abhi tu mein jawaan hoon". The program was presented by Vijay laxmi pandit (I think). All india radio urdu service used to have every sunday evening "Awaaz de kahan he which started with Noor Jahan song from anmol Ghari. I hope some body can contact Srilanka radio......khawar

I think it will not be possible in Sydney to catch radio shri Lanka.You may try ,it is adjacent to BBC or China radio international.Now a days SLBC operates for hindi music songs from 6.30AM to 8.30AM only.

Eagerly looking forward to upload of Geeta-G.M. Durrani song. (I simply love the pairing). Appears from the lyrics that it possibly is a parody on another of their lovely duets Humne Khayi Hai Mohabbat Mein Jawani Ki Kasam Na Kabhi Honge Juda Hum, Kasam Apni Apni Nibhayenge Dono from Dilruba 1950.
