Do not feel offended. You should also appreciate that many of us have the VCDs/DVDs
of these movies and to download such songs (ripped from VCDs/DVDs and uploaded)
would not only be futile but lead to frustration also when on downloading we find that
the songs are ripped versions from VCDs/DVDs. Please also try to understand that
as per the guidelines of this forum you have to mention the source when you
upload such songs.

our collection and feel proudly to upload these songs.

Secondly, I can assure you what ever songs i upload will be in awesome quality worth downloading, otherwise i wont upload them to dissapoint people.

I have a suggestion. I believe you have a large collection of old Punjabi songs. Some of us have small collections of our own. For the last 50 years I have been trying to collect as many Punjabi songs as my circumstances allowed . Now I find that some of the older songs from 40's and 50's and even from later decades are either not available or are available in less than decent quality. In the recent past, Mr Dhararamvir of Amritsar loaded a large number of songs but all were not of top quality. I think if you could follow his example and load rare songs in quality range from 'accaeptable to top class' I will be happy to download them and have all the now missing songs from your library. I have been looking for some songs for so long I will take those in almost any quality if I can find them. Harjinder

1. Charkha kiss ghadia meri banh karendi peedh...Iss charkhe diyan dhumman payian Kabul te Kashmir. I have been told that it was probably sung by Iqbal Begum and film name may be ;Kurmai' 'or 'Kudmai' from the 40's. MD I think was Ghulam Haider.( Info courtesy Dr Bukhari)'
2. Tussi naukar chale naukar chakar chale saade layee ki liaaoge saugat. Singers probably Parkash Kaur & Surinder Kaur.
3. Film 'Gul Baloch' Singers Rafi and a female singer. Song had words 'Ni sohniye heeriye...'This one is probably the hardest one to find.

Thanks for this. I don't normally hear Tahira Syed, but she has sung this song very well and the excellent audio does bring life into it. But, I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope you can locate the original as well.

There is another song - originally sung by Roshanara Begum and later Tahira Syed. It is Dole Re Mann Haule Haule. I have virtually given up on finding the Roshanara original. Would you have it or even the TS version.
