Does anyone have a clipping of Rafi Sahab "SPEAKING" in live shows ??

I have live shows where he is singing only and some other person who is doing the speaking part in between the songs...

i've only one song in which Rafi Sahab said few words.
he said,"mein aapko aik naya gana sunata hoon picture ka naam bhi wohi hai aur gana bhi."

Just before the song ek dil ke tukdhe hazar huye in one of the live shows
Mohd. Rafi starts to sing, crowd applauds, and he he says = is gaane ko mujhe tees saale hoge bole huye--
and he sings it then.

He also spokeout a few words for 2 songs inbetween when he sang live with Krishna Mukherjee. The song was

• Sau Saal Pehele... he stops mid way and asks her "Kab say?" after her lines.. dil tho yeh mera sanam, tera talabgaar tha.
• Aaja Aaja Mein Hun Pyar Tera... when she tries to imitate Rafi.... aaaja aaja jaja jaja .... he abruptly stops and says... "Ho Ho ho.. ho ... Itna Jaasti Der Tak....". All this while, I thot Jaasti was a kannada term. Never heard anyone use it in hindi. Jaasti means long.

Yes yes....I saw that video...and yes I do have that 2 LP set - Live of Rafi with Krishna Mukherjee...that incident dirung the song Sau Saal Pehle is quite funny !!

But I always found that the pace of all songs in that show was very slow...the fast songs were also a bit slow paced...any views ?

I was quite curious to hear Rafi sahab during live shows,and hence this topic...

I don't like Rafi singing live much. I always prefer his Filmi prerecorded ones. Same goes with Kishore and Mukesh. I loved Asha's eternal magic.

I like the lite classical based ones which Rafi Sahab has rendered live.. ODKR esp.. Mahal Udhas, Suhani Raat Dhal Chuki, Tere Mere Sapne and few others.

No No I saw it on a video cassette in our friends gathering, during my India visit around 4 years back

i have 2 recordings from live concerts where rafi sahib speaks, in the first he says about the song he is about to sing "yeh bilkul naya gaana he, inke kaabil koi nahin", and in the other he addresses the crowd. i'll upload them once i've figured it out.
