Maula Jaat is a Lolly Wood History, this is the movie who started a race of Punjabi Films, this is the film who made Punjabi Wood of Lolly Wood ! I give u the gurantee you would never have seen such a great CLASH in any movie that you would see in this movie, SULTAN RAHI -VS- MUSTAFA QURESHI

Haven't seen much of these late 70s and 80s Pakistani films, but did enjoy some earlier Punjabi films eg. Heer Ranjha(1970) starring Firdaus and Ejaz, it was so fabulous that I liked it better than the Indian version starring Rajkumar and Priya.

To be very honest, like most of the Pakistani films, Maula Jat also is a worst kind of film. The film is not only the technically poor (like almost every film of Pakistan) but you also will ‘enjoy’ the best over acting performances in it. The only charm for me to watch this film was the two songs sung by Noor Jehan and composed by renowned music director Master Inayat.

I will not recommend it to you.
