A perfect song for me. Love it immensly. I remember watching this movie on DD atleast 10 years ago. still recall song in which jeetendra sings this song with misty eyes.

music is brilliant by LP. Nice use of folkish styled music. notice the violin drums after first stanza. . Dholak- tabla is bit loud......but thts LP style -& intentional !

Excellent lyrics by my Majrooh saab. song ko UP accent mein gaya hai for eg " Majay me ", "je" etc. Majrooh sab is from UP so used those words well . For me no one better then Majrooh atleast when it comes to expressing "my" emotions. and this time again Majrooh saab at his best.

iss song ko hum kanyadan ke " meri zindagi mein ate" ka 2nd part keh sakte hain. situation I think are same in movie. if tht song was more abt hero's desire to have her in his life. in this songs lyrics are more abt sadness of loosing her etc.

Yaaro aisi raat kisi ko na mile........na hi kabhi tumhe aise situation mein ganaa pada : p.......... meri yehi dua hai. .

Mukesh has been my fav from school days. Mukesh and kk were first singers I liked most. during my school days my elder bro used to listen alot to mukesh sad songs. so Iam quite used to it.
