Thanx for recognizing the talented Naqsh Lyallpuri......he has also wrote many songs for punjabi films too......some of his work may have gone unoticed by us..........he may not be in the league as Sahir, Majrooh, Anand Bakshi, Shailendra, Hasrat, Gulzar, Anjaan, Indivar, Shakeel and so on.....one thing some of us will learn is that he sure did pen many nice nice songs......i'm sure many of us members who are not familiar with him will start looking further into his career from your thread.

from your list it was a close call for "Yeh Wohi Geet Hai" [Kishore Kumar] or "Aaja Re O Mere Dilbar" [Lata/Nitin Mukesh]...eventually i voted for the Noorie track.

He is one of unsung/unhyped heroes,

Sometimes, composition works as deciding factor. I have selected songs
on basis of lyrics.

Noorie's song is a good composition. 100% marks to lyricist and composer.
Idhar Nitin Mukesh ne bhi apna efforts poora kiya hai, iske liye ye gana aaj bhi
all time hit-duets mein gina jata hai.

I am biased in selection cos of Lata and Madan Mohan factor.
