Timir Baran will be remembered, till eternity, for his master-score in P C Barua's 'Devdas'. S K Pal, too, was a composing name to reckon with in the '30s and '40s. When the two came together in 'Baadbaan', there emerged that unforgettable Geeta Dutt-Hemant tandem - "Kaise koi jiye zehar hai zindagi", one of Indivar's early lyric-pieces, showcasing his outstanding talent:
