'Hyderabad Ki Nazneen' was a truly outstanding score from Vasant Desai, making one wonder how and why this composer, who had genius written into every core of his composition, never made it to the Naushad-Madan Mohan-Nayyar league. Small-time though the film may have been, not a single composition of Vasant Desai, created for the film, could be termed small-time. Each number has the stamp of genius on it. Here they are - all written by Noor Lucknavi:

The only remaining number is Rajkumari's "Nazron mein samaane se qaraar aa na sakega". If anyone has it, please, PLEASE, u/l it, so that this wonderful film score is complete.

Hari, may be his untimely death in an accident ( I heard inside a lift !) can be one of the reasons why he is almost forgotten !

To me he was really a genious composer who created music of his own style..

You heard right, Parag ... He died in a ramshackle lift in his building, which did not stop when it reached the top ... a sorry end by any standards ...
