Rafi, in his salad years in the '40s, had a distinct timbre, to his voice, which, unfortunately, faded out over later years, though the quality of his singing did not suffer in the least. Yet, hearing that timbre was an experience in itself ... just like the tremor in Talat's voice in his early songs. Here's one of Rafi's salad numbers from 'Garibi', under the veteran baton of that grossly underplayed composer, Bulo C Rani, which proves my point ...

I don't, unfortunately, have any other number from 'Garibi'. I'd be grateful to anyone who could u/l them. They are:
