Not to my knowledge, kcp. Nice song. I always thought "Mere Pyaase Man" from this movie was way ahead of its time. The beats and chords were very progressive.

I agree. Though the whistle interludes remind one of 'Good, Bad and Ugly'. I also thought 'Jeevan hai ek sapna' was a good number.

I remember seeing this one - quite sensuous stuff on screen betwen Feroz Khan and Rekha. Then FK goes and has a one nighter with Faryal(?) who duly gets murdered and the plot thickens; forgotten the rest.

Song : Teri Meri Meri Teri Achhi Huee Dosti
Film : Khoon Khoon ( 1973)
Music Director : Vijay Singh
Lyrics : Hasrat Jaipuri
Singers - Kishore, Sushma S, Jayashri S

Here is one song about which I wanted to discuss for a long long time but today found the mauka smile1.gif

I find this man "Vijay Singh" to be none other than our Panchamda ( kidding tongue.gif )

While listening the song for the first time, if somebody had told me that this song was composed by Panchamda, I would have easily agreed...

Also when I got this song recorded in audio CD from a collector, a few years back, in his shop, I had heard 2 more songs from the same film - and believe me !! both were in the "Pancham mode" ( cant remmber the song titles now ) - typical Panchamish instruments and rythm...

I would really like to know more about this man...was he in the Pancham musician group ? a friend of Pancham ? or anything else ?

KCP
I got the same feeling for the song of Naya Nasha
Ek Ladki Le Gayi Dil De Geyi Woh Dhoka

It seems very much like a RD tune, but the music director is Sapan Chakroborty!!
Also the song starts by KK saying

....Raste mein ja raha tha, R.D.Burman ka ek gana ga raha tha....

Was this composed by RD??? The song is as usual a superb masti song.
Only the video is something bold for the time.

Don't know the name of the on-screen hero who sang the song in the film.

<movie>NAYA NASHA</movie>
<year>1973</year>
<starcast>NANDA, SHARAD KUMAR, RANJIT, ASIT SEN, MANMOHAN, ACHLA SACHDEV, MADAN PURI, MURAD</starcast>
<producer>C V K SHASTRY</producer>
<director>HARI DUTT</director>
<music>SAPAN CHAKRAVORTY</music>

Walker
As far as I know, Sapan Chakravarty was Pancham's Assistant b4 he started on his own. He even sang for two pancham songs (there may be more)
Pyaar humein kis mode pe le aya - along with other singers in 7 on 7
and also a solo for the film angoor
Preetam Aan milo (I may be wrong here)

My records say Sharad Kumar, but I'm not positive on this one.
