Hope everyone here has heard this new Shaan & Kavita song 'Paighaam' from the upcoming movie 'Lakeer', picturized on that 'Saaya' guy, John Abrahams & Nauheed Cyrusi.
Music by A. R. Rahman & lyrics by Mehboob. It sounds like the Sonu-Anuradha number from 'Pukar' picturized on Anil & Madhuri in Alaska ... the lyrics to which were, 'kismet se tum humko milay ho'.
Is this some special type of song/raag? It has a very mellow and soft feel to it. And this is the second time that he has made this type of song.

It also reminds me of the Roja song.. Yeh haseen waadiyan..
Mebbe it is based on the same raag.
Musicfan the morning raag in tamil is called the Bhoopalam.. dont know its equivalent in Hindi :X
