Does any one here knows about Lata’s “Pahadi/Himachali” numbers.? I know about only one. Any info on this subject would be great.

I know of one Pahari song, which goes like 'Bhala Siphiya Dogaraya...' I guess it's in the Dogari dialect.

That is Pahari with few dogari words.. as both languages have few words common….

That is the one I know too but was trying to find out if there are more.

Not sure if Lata Sang this one too “iisa garai deha Lambra hu.. ina choroan jo liya samjahi.. “

Oh, I've heard this one too, though not in Lataji's voice. We had an old recording of Bhala Siphiya Dogaraya... don't know if I'd be able to find it in the old family cassettes.

I have “bhala Sipahiya” but the quality is not good. I was wondering if any CD was ever released with this number.

As far as the other number.. I remember listing to that on “Shimla” radio station…. With other pahadi songs

Does this dogri song has been sung by Lataji..

I derfinately remember, that one song I heard by Lataji was some thing like this..

Fouziya Chutti Laiker aayjaa.. (sorry can not remember the words)

Ok this sounds more like the one we are talking about... "Bhala Sipahiya Dograiya hoo" .. what you have mentioned ... may be that is other part/stanza or different version but i can hummm this on "bhala Sipahiya" tune....



i have this number but that is not in Lm's voice. Its possible that she sang this one initially and then others sang it.
