Even though Asha was not LP's main singer they have done a considerable amount of work together yet we never see an Asha sings for LP compilation or it never gets discussed much. It is wonderful to get these rare numbers. Strange that so many of the 80s tracks have now really become rare and so hard for us fans to find.

LP were once asked " who in their opinion was a complete singer" they answered "Asha bhonsle" they also qouted that we never ever had any problem with her rendition of any song be it whatever, punjabi, english hindi and went on to say that "Asha Ji, is in a class of her own, for all our hardest renditions, it was always asha ji we turned to, and at the end she made it look so easy"

The song uled by Antji mera dil leke leke chal diye should prove that but then why didn't they use her more? RDB too turned to Asha for his most challenging and experimental tunes but did not give her many of his best songs.

a really nicely composed song. I did not have an mp3 copy of this song.

Since you are posting so many of the Asha/LP combos, I have a request.
The last time I heard this song was when I saw the move almost 25
years back. The film is "Do premee" and the song is "Kya karega
zindagi". I was wondering if you had a good copy of this song. I
recall it as being very very well sung and nicely orchestrated.

I have the song, but again quality is not great, but here it is anyway

Good blackmail ka achcha mauka mila hai--humko cassette do warna no parcels and no Dumbodar for U!!!! Sheesh Dumbodar indeed!!! waise anything could be better than the dour postman we have here--I have a real time with postman--the one at my old house was slightly off and would owalk around with his tongue out and make me verify that letters were indeed mine a 100 times. The new place has a grim creep whose look says "I was meant for better things than this!!!"

Dharmaan saab seems to have disappeared.
This song being a big file dled it only a few days back--seems like the song is abt 41/2 mins but is repeated in the track!!!
