Indeed an excellent rendition by Ashaji and more you will enjoy when you see the artistic picturisation of the song by V. Shantaram.

I think Meghal meant the version of the song geet gaya patharone--that song is not an Asha solo but a duet with Mahendra Kapoor. I have this song and can ul it tnight--if someone can ul in higher bitrate please do so (with my slow connection i usually ul files as mp3 pro 80 kbs)
Is this version of tere khayalon mein hum different from the usual release on cds like Legends? I love this number and Asha's voice is just out of the world!!!!

I am trying to upload the CD version of the song but the attachment doesn't seem to stay in the post. I've been having all sorts of problems uploading and downloading since I installed Norton AntiVirus.
I also have recorded the film versions of the Kishori Amonkar version, Janewale O Mere Pyar and Tere Khayalon Mein Hum
Wish me luck in trying to solve this problem !

The other two film versions. Unfortunately there is some 'clicking' in the songs that isn't apparant when watching the film - I think it's a sign I need to get a new video.
I can remove it using cleaning software but don't seem to be able to save the cleaned file (having serious issues with my PC!)
So if anyone would like to clean these up and upload them I can remove them from this post:

Sorry I thought for Tere Khayalonme. Anyway thanks to Jamal Bhai for uploading these requested ones and the other songs. Priyaji, the one I have uploaded is same as film version and usually not found in CD compilations and hence I have given the track time which is 4.25. Please check you version and D/L this one if you dont have since its really a great version which you will enjoy as compared to 78rpm version.

Whooooo this film and post had got me thoroughly confused. I knew I had janewale o mere pyar and rat naujawan but could not find them--then realised they were on discs I had got from a collector a long while back. Us confusion ko door kiya to agla confusion yeh raha ki is gaane ka bhi film version alag hai kya? Or is tere khayalon mein hum the only one with a diff version? Why do they have diff versions btw?

Yes Mohdsaab thanks so much for this version--almost a minute and a half more than the version on Legends!! I thot nothing could be better than that song but this is just great--one of my FAV numbers and great to find a longer better version!!!!

The film version of Janewale O Mere Pyar has the introduction where Asha and the chorus have a kind of Alaap (only way I can describe it) before the main song starts (about 45s worth) and also the first part is repeated twice (once on CD) and the instrumentals between each verse are longer
Total length 5:01 (as compared with 3:13 CD version)
