Hi,

Do anyone know there was a song from singer "PERVEEN SULTANA"" IN PAKEEZAH.I had learnt it sometime ago.She appeared in SABe Tv music programme "AAO JHOMEN GAEN " Some months back.
I don't know the exact wording of song.

I have the DVD of PAKEEZAH , if no on upload by today , will RIP from DVD tonight. ( If the song is there in DVD)

Parveen Sultana had sung the thumri "kaun gali gayo shyaam" for "Pakeezah". It is used as one of the ambience-setting background pieces in the film. The song is available on the "Pakeezah Rang Barang" CD.

Yep , I just checked the DVD , this particular song does not comes under any menu options.... solly can't help

There was another thumri by Parveen Sultans in the film 'Najarya ki maari mari mori gooyan'. It was also used as background piece.

I do have a pakeezah CD and I think it has the song, Give me a couple of days to rip it and upoad it.

"najariyaa ki maari" was sung by the playback singer Rajkumari.

I HEARD IT SOME TIME BACK.Now the same song is in deleted list of Mughal-e-azam songs.
That song was also a duet or trio
