...lolz @ priya didi....nahi ji...'Hina" is a division of the pakistani company "shalimar house"...thruought the 80's and maybe even into the ninties it put out a lot of punjabi film songs...'geet mala'..with special tapes soley dedicated to MNJ...used 2 watch them heaps b4 i got ny of her cds nd stuff....sorry bout the dissapointment ji.. ;-)..cheers!

lmao @ priya ji...hey come on...some of the actresses aint all that bad...yeah pakistani movies are cheap and filthy..but the songz r usually watchable and memorable....bilal!

No intention of demeaning the poor actresses but honestly though many may disbelieve me I always prefer audio to video--the video ie film sequences do not allow one to dream, they do not let the poetry sink in or the music thrill--U are stuck with what u are shown. Whereas when i hear my favs asha and Noor Jehan in audio the appreciation of the song is so much greater. But I like seeing videos with my fav singers like Tarannum videos--Madam is just such a darling with her infectious smile and twinkling eyes and those khaas adas that belong to her.

I am glade that you liked the song The song 'Ve toon aana si toon naein aaya... saanu teri yaad sataandi neender naein aandi' is from film 'Shehnshah', Music by great composer Master Abdullah. To my knowledge there is only one version of this song sung by Noor Jehan (and the same film track was used in Noor Jehan's TV programme Tarannum). I am not aware if she ever re sang this song. As for as Sajjad Ali's song is concerned, He has sung the same song with some of changes. The tune is same but the lyrics are change. He recently has sung one more Noor Jean-Master Abdullah combination song 'Poori hoi dil di umang chhetii chhetii..'. This is from from film 'Jat Mirza'. This is my all time favorite Noor Jehan number. Sajjad Ali also did it well.
