Page 3 takes a behind-the-scenes look at the lifestyles of the A-list celebrities in metro cities. It explores the networking and the power play between the air-kissing, champagne-swilling celebrities and the media, all the witnessed through the eyes of an entertainment journalist, Madhavi Sharma (Konkana Sen Sharma). While Madhavi parties with the elite, she takes the last train back to her rented apartment to write about the night's events that make headlines the next morning.
Page 3 tells the story of Madhavi and her friends Gayatri (Tara Sharma), a struggling Bollywood actress and Pearl (Sandhya Mridul) a bold n' sassy, no-nonsense talking air hostess who wants to marry a rich tycoon. The other essential characters include a powerful newspaper editor (Boman Irani), a crime reporter who finds Madhavi's beat of journalism demeaning (Atul Kulkarni), a Bollywood star and Gayatri's love interest (Bikram Saluja) and a gay make-up artist and best friend to Madhavi (Rehaan Engineer).
Page 3 will make you laugh and it will make you cry, as you witness the plastic life of high society through the eyes of Madhavi Sharma. Given a chance to shatter the myth, does she surrender to this superficial world or rebel?

Konkana Sensharma as Madhavi Sharma
Madhavi Sharma is a simple middle class girl with sound values and a strong belief system. She is a fiery and gutsy journalist who, in her fight for truth, loses everything - innocence, love, career and friends, but never loses hope.
Atul Kulkarni as Vinayak Mane
Vinayak Mane is a conscientious crime reporter who has no tolerance for Page 3 type of journalism. Initially, he is annoyed at having Madhavi reassigned to assist him. However, she eventually wins his respect.
Boman Irani as Deepak Suri
Boman Irani plays Deepak Suri, the editor of leading daily newspaper. He is a kind affable man who, inspite of feeling exasperated by a rebellious Madhavi, is genuinely fond of her. Deepak Suri represents the good yet weak and ineffective face of rank commercialism, which has defaced the noble profession of journalism.
Upyendra Limaye as Inspector Arun Bhosle
Inspector Arun Bhosle is an honest cop who pays a very high price for his integrity. His symbiotic working relationship with Vinayak Mane is a paradigm shift for the corrupt society that they, ironically, serve.
Supporting cast and crew
The supporting cast includes a hoard of character artistes including Soni Razdan, Suchitra Pillai, Dolly Thakore, Anju Mahendroo, Maya Alagh, Kunika Lal, Madan Jain, Manoj Joshi, Suhasini Mullay, Kurush Deboo, Nasir Abdhulla, Bobby Darling, Dinesh Lamba, Navni Parihar and debutante Jai Kalra. Produced by Bobby Pushkarna the film has music by Shamir Tandon.
