He has been shifted to the Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU) of a corporate hospital in Chennai.

'Gemini', as he is popularly known among his admirers, is suffering from multiple problems and anemia.

The family has appealed to the public to donate blood as he requires blood transfusion. He is the father of the well known actress Rekha. (PTI)
