No Indian actress quite matches Madhubala, at least in looks. Recently though I have come across a couple of websites that dare to suggest Madhubala has something in common with a vulgar american actress, marilyn monroe. How can that possibly be? Not in a million years!

Madhubala is absolutely gorgeous and the other is a bleached blonde common slapper. There may be some slight parallels in their personal lives but Madhubala didnt have to take her clothes off to get noticed. She did that with her beautiful face and her abundant talent for both comedy and drama. Madhubala was destined to be a star, the other used a bottle of bleach and if she didnt shed clothes in her films would have faded into the wallpaper. Madhubala didnt need gimmicks.

Compared Madhubala to Venus and even Venus pales in comparison.

Yes Eva2458. Words fail me to describe the magnetism of Madhubala. Her tragedy puts her in a class of Shakespearean heroine.
