Jayashree ji was leading actress of Marathi films and she did act in a few Hindi movies as well. One of her movies Sangte Aika, incidentally, created a record by running for over 230 weeks. It had superhit "Lavani" songs like "Bugadi maajhi sandali ga" sung by Asha ji. Here is a link to youtube video of the same

Comments from a post :
Let me add that Jayshree Gadkar, apart from being a leading Marathi actress for more than two decades, did quite a few Hindi films too, a fair sprinkling of social and mythological flicks. Among the ones where she played the leading lady were 'Saranga', 'Madari' and 'Private Secretary'. However, she made quite a name for herself in a series of mythological films where she either played one of the lead roles or strong side characters, notable among these were - 'Balram Srikrishna', Luv Kush', 'Tulsi Vivah', 'Hari Darshan', 'Maha Sati Savitri', 'Har Har Mahadev', 'Gayatri Mahima', among others. In fact, she was a regular fixture in almost every mythological of the late 60s and early 70s. Her strength lay in the ability to enact a wide variety of roles with deep, emotional undercurrents. Besides, she was blessed with a soft, charming face and a lovely smile that really carried.
