i am looking for the song "sharm aathi hai magar" from film padosan. music by R.D.Burman..though i am aware that this album is widely available in market, i couldnt find the cd..also, i have all the other songs of this album except this one song...so, just trying it here..anybody having it, can you plz upload?

thanks unniji! not only for this song..but also for the ghazal from baazaar! this padosan song is my fav because r.d.burman reflected a madan mohan kind of melody in thos song..and lataji's vocals, as always...mellifluous... great song there!and "dikhaayidiye yun" is a classic ofcourse...where can we find such songs in today's movies? unbeatable...

Does anyone have "pal bhar mein" from Swami (1977), Actors : Girish karnad and Shabana azmi......cant find it anywhere on the net........

Also , how to access the song archives, ie, how to search whether a song has been already uploaded by someone...?

and sharmilaji, though i dont have swami..i need just a piece of info..is the composer of that film, by any chance, rajesh roshan..and is it the same film in which there is a popular yesudas song "kya karoon sajni"?

you said it chintuji...especially this song of RDB "sharm aathi hai magar" has strong madan mohan kind of melody...i always felt it so...the stanzas especially..unfortunately RDB was never considered(by producers/directors..other than skakti samanta or hrishida) as a serious compose for classical songs inspite of classics like these...

Yes the song I requested is from the same movie.........its a lovely song........but I havent been able to find it anywhere online....It wud be gr8 if someone cud u/l that song..............
