Oh, you don't have some songs!

That's a beautiful song, and I am smitten by the depth of the meaning. A part of the song (in real format) is available on sawf website ( http://www.sawf.org/bin/tips.dll/gettip?us...ributors&arch=1 ). One should read the song even if it is not found on the casette. I searched for this many times on different panets (ie M and Music ) but could not find it either.

I'll need to sit with Sultan Nathani's "LUGHAT" to try and understand much of the Urdu!

Thanks for giving the link to listen to the clip. I had seen this movie when it was released and the song comes back to mind.

Just give me a bit of time. I have a Urdu dictionary and check meanings of some words. The only one I could not get was the word 'bartar'. This time I'll try to dig it up too...

Only recently I found this dictionary which is quite comprehensive. I could find, finally, that 'bartar' is 'bar tar' and that it means surpassing. Just in case it helps this is the site I am referring to (not the book).
