After seeing pareshmotiwala's Thread on 'Minimal contribution by Rafisaab',

Well-conceived thread, Ayyagari garu! smile.gif

Obviously, you mean songs wherein others have a token/minimal contribution.

Good work.

Venkat

PS. This can be seen in two categories.

1. The Actresses/Comedians lilke, Saira, Sharmila, Mehmood, Johnny Walker, etc. saying/singing a few words in the song.

2. Other play-back singers saying/singing only a few words.

But, if you extend this to (or define this as) songs wherein Rafi Saab has a greater portion than the co-singer in duets, then there is no end! There are hundreds and hundreds of such songs! Hence, suggesting the above 2 categories.

I fully agree Sir,

The ratio should be at least 90%. Just because Rafisaab sings 2 stanzas and another singer sings only one stanza, a song should not be included in this thread

In Kagaz Ke Phool(1959), there is one Rafi solo picturised on Johnny Walker. Rafi Saab opens the song with "O Peter, O Brother Harry, O Bhalla, O Mister Beri". There, Johnny Walker himself chips in to say, "Mister Iyer, Are You There?".

Thereafter, the main song, "Ham Tum Jise Kehta Hai Shadi, You Know Hai Poora Barbaadi" starts with Rafi Saab.
